All students shall follow the rules, regulations and instructions of Armsteck Art & Science College, Anchampeedika. Ignorance of the rules shall not be considered an excuse.
Students shall attend classes regularly and punctually and shall not engage in activities that disturb the smooth functioning of the College.
Smoking, consumption or possession of alcohol, narcotic drugs, intoxicating substances or other prohibited substances within the College premises is strictly forbidden.
Students found under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances on the campus shall be subject to strict disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion as applicable.
Possession, use or distribution of narcotics, weapons, explosives or other dangerous materials within the campus is strictly prohibited.
Students shall show proper respect and courtesy to teachers, administrative staff, support staff and fellow students.
Students shall not enter or leave a classroom while a class is in progress without the permission of the teacher concerned.
Students shall maintain proper discipline and decorum whenever the Principal, Head of Department or teacher enters the classroom.
Students who repeatedly disobey College authorities, engage in misconduct, commit examination malpractice, use abusive language, damage College property or seriously violate College discipline shall face appropriate disciplinary action.
Students shall not use abusive, threatening, insulting or offensive language towards any member of the College community.
Students shall not damage, deface or write on the walls, furniture, equipment or other property of the College.
Requests, grievances and representations shall be submitted through the appropriate College authorities. Class representatives may communicate matters concerning their respective classes.
No notice, leaflet, poster or other written material shall be circulated within the College premises without prior permission from the Principal or authorised authority.
No meeting, gathering or organised programme shall be conducted within the College premises without prior permission from the Principal or authorised authority.
Students shall not write on classroom boards, address a class or conduct any activity in the absence of the teacher without permission.
Students who do not belong to a particular class shall not enter that classroom without permission.
Prior permission shall be obtained for organising special meetings, entertainment programmes, functions or other events within the College.
Prior permission shall be obtained for inviting external persons or organisations to College programmes.
No subscription, contribution or collection of money shall be made from students or staff without prior permission from the College authorities.
Students may seek guidance from the Principal, Head of Department, mentor or other authorised College officials regarding matters related to College discipline.
Students shall not organise or participate in unauthorised demonstrations, dharna, gherao, obstruction of entrances or any activity that interferes with the normal functioning of the College.
Students shall not shout slogans, create unnecessary noise or cause disturbance inside classrooms, offices or any other part of the campus.
Students shall follow the College regulations regarding the use of mobile phones and electronic devices. Mobile phones shall not be used during classes in a manner that disturbs academic activities.
Student vehicles shall be parked only in the designated parking area. Entry of student vehicles into restricted areas of the campus is prohibited.
Banners, posters, flags, notices or publicity materials shall not be displayed on the College campus, gates or compound walls without prior permission.
Any damage caused to College property by a student or group of students may be recovered from the responsible persons in accordance with College rules.
Students shall comply with the security procedures applicable at the College entrance and cooperate with authorised security personnel.
Students shall be present in their classrooms before the commencement of classes and shall participate respectfully in the morning prayer or assembly as instructed by the College.
Students requiring leave for unavoidable reasons shall submit the prescribed leave application through the appropriate channel.
Students shall wear the prescribed College uniform on designated days, including days of special classes, except on days specifically permitted by the College.
On permitted colour-dress days, students shall maintain a neat, decent and appropriate standard of dress.
Students shall always carry and display their valid College Identity Card/ID Tag while on the campus.
Students representing the College at external programmes shall carry their valid College Identity Card.
Loss of an Identity Card shall be immediately reported to the College Office. A replacement card shall be obtained through the prescribed procedure and applicable fee shall be paid.
Students shall surrender their Identity Card upon completion of their course or along with the application for Transfer Certificate, as instructed by the College.
No student shall leave the College campus during class hours without obtaining the required permission from the authorised College authority.
Students shall not bring visitors, friends or other persons into the College campus without prior permission from the College authorities.
Students shall maintain dignity, courtesy and discipline in their behaviour and shall communicate politely with teachers, staff and fellow students.
Students shall not crowd in corridors, porticos, stairways or other common areas during working hours.
Students shall not unnecessarily loiter on verandas or elsewhere on the campus during class hours.
Students shall keep the College campus clean, hygienic, safe and green.
Littering, damaging plants, trees, gardens or other environmental resources within the campus is strictly prohibited.
Students shall not engage in any activity that may adversely affect the reputation or proper functioning of the College.
Students shall not create unnecessary sounds or engage in activities that disturb classes, examinations, administrative work or other College activities.
Students shall not intimidate, threaten, harass, insult or physically assault any person within the College campus.
Students shall not carry explosives, firearms, weapons, dangerous objects or other prohibited materials onto the campus.
All College celebrations and student activities shall be conducted only after obtaining prior permission from the Head of the Institution or authorised authority.
Details of proposed programmes, including programme schedule, guests, source of funds and estimated expenditure, shall be submitted to the College authorities within the prescribed period.
Student Union activities and other student programmes shall be conducted under the supervision of the designated College authorities and Staff Advisor.
Vehicles shall not be used for unauthorised processions, celebrations or other activities within the College campus or hostel premises.
Members of the public and former students may enter the College campus only for genuine and authorised purposes.
Visitors shall not be permitted to enter classrooms, laboratories, offices or hostel facilities without proper permission.
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. Students shall not harass, intimidate, threaten or subject freshers or other students to physical or mental abuse.
Any incident of ragging shall be dealt with in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and College disciplinary procedures.
Programmes by external agencies or professional entertainment groups, including DJs and similar events, shall not be conducted without specific approval from the College authorities.
Unauthorised fundraising or collection of money from students is strictly prohibited.
Bike races, motor vehicle races, elephant processions or similar activities are not permitted within the College campus or hostel premises.
