AMSTECK is a self-financing college functioning under the management of the Academy of Management and Science & Technology Co-operative Society, Kalliasseri Limited (AMSTECK). The institution was established with the vision of creating accessible and quality higher-education opportunities for students in Kalliasseri and the surrounding areas.
The college was founded with the objective of meeting the growing educational aspirations of the local community and providing students with opportunities to pursue higher studies in a conducive and academically enriching environment. From its inception, the institution has been committed to promoting academic excellence, developing skills and encouraging students to become responsible and productive members of society.
Permission to establish the college was granted by the Government of Kerala vide G.O. (Ms) No. 67/08/H.Edn dated 4 July 2008. Subsequently, provisional affiliation was granted by Kannur University vide U.O. No. Acad/A1/AMS 6627/08 dated 18 November 2008.
The college commenced its academic activities on 4 August 2008, marking the beginning of its journey in the field of higher education. Since then, the institution has continued to work towards providing students with quality education and a supportive learning environment.
The college was formally inaugurated by Sri. M. A. Baby, the then Hon. Minister for Education, Government of Kerala, marking an important milestone in the history of the institution.
Today, AMSTECK continues to uphold its commitment to education and community development, striving to provide students with the knowledge, skills and values necessary to pursue higher studies, build successful careers and contribute meaningfully to society.
